Our Mission: To develop and maintain quality student-oriented housing communities operating on a non-profit, democratic basis.

Riverton Community Housing has been a leader in student housing for the past 30+ years. Our experience began in 1972 with the building of the Chateau Student Housing Cooperative and was further strengthened with the purchase of Marcy Park Student Housing Cooperative in 1995, Marshall Student Housing Cooperative and Franklin Housing Cooperative in 2000, Cole Townhomes in 2002, and our newest addition, 4th Street Co-op.

Riverton offers unique apartment living near the University campus. We give our residents the opportunity to live in a stimulating cooperative environment based on cooperative principles, which means members have the opportunity to get involved with the decision making process for their co-op. Our residents gain experience through participation on the cooperative boards and committees that assist in managing the co-ops.

If you are interested in getting more information about apartment availability at the Chateau, Marcy Park, Marshall, Cole, or 4th Street, please contact Lindsey Gunstad at lindsey.gunstad@riverton.org or 612-331-3911. If you are interested in Franklin Co-op, please contact Dianna Tyson at dianna.tyson@riverton.org or 612-338-4574.
