Board of Directors Meeting
February 2, 2000
In attendance: Gary Ellis, Julien Kubesh, Val Aas, Mike Mazzarella, Martha Hurr, Steve Bradley, Peter Easterlund
Meeting called to order at 5:45.
The minutes of the January 2000 meeting were approved.
The board reviewed notes from the retreat, people should contact Gary if there are any errors. Gary will produce a timeline.
The board discussed the retreat. Gary thought the table was too large, but otherwise the facilities were great. The board agreed that having the same facilitator as the previous year helped.
The staff viewed the Cities 94 property. The building is in good shape and well kept.
The board approved a motion to proceed with an architectural assessment of the Heart of the Earth property not to exceed $5000.
An informational meeting for the Marshall Cooperative will be held on Monday, February 21, 8:00 PM at the Borealis Cafe across from the Chateau.
The board discussed the use of the web site. There were concerns over what details would be included in the minutes if they are publicly accessible.
The board changed the meeting date to the first Wednesday of the month, at 5:30 PM though May.
In cooperative reports, the Chateau reported 40 people attended their Super Bowl party. The Chateau is also delaying a ethernet-related rent increase until March. Marcy Park's new president has expressed an interest in attending Riverton meetings.
