Rent includes heat, water, gas, electricity, cable TV and internet.
Parking is $67-62/month. There is a waiting list for parking- please check availability at the office.
In order to move into the Chateau, all residents must first give proof of your student status, complete an application and pay the security deposit (equal to one month's rent). The application fee is $30 per applicant or $50 per married couple.
Once approved, you will schedule a time to sign the lease. At this time, you will pay your first month's rent and a one-time $40 membership fee.
Rents are subject to change in the fall when the annual budgets are drafted. As a member of a cooperative you have the opportunity to get involved with the budgeting process.
The Chateau does not practice rent partitioning, so by signing the lease you are accepting responsibility for 100% of the lease, not just your portion.
