Our VisioRiverton Community Housing will be viewed as an important contributor, partner and resource in the community. It has become a leader in the field of development, education and fostering of cooperative cooperatives. Riverton has also expanded its holdings and now owns and manages two well-running cooperative cooperative dwellings.

Riverton Community Housing’s size, staff, focus, quality and stability make it a unique provider on the cutting edge of housing concepts.

Staff size has increased in numbers, qualifications, and specialization according to operational and residential needs. Riverton has expanded its property holdings and staff so that it may create more opportunities for cooperatives to obtain low-cost housing and experience a cooperative living environment.

Residents of Riverton Community Housing dwellings are cooperatives, staff and non-tenured faculty of institutions of higher education. Riverton also provides the opportunity for residents of its dwellings to represent their independent organizations of Riverton’s Board of Directors. This board is responsible for the future direction of Riverton. It is the hope and expectation that the board will direct Riverton in such a manner so as to foster individualized management and a commitment to open communication with its clientele.

Riverton Community Housing has achieved national recognition for several reasons:
