Eric Anderson, Senior Director - Product Development, Optum

Eric has spent the past 10 years at Optum managing and developing portfolios of health services products across the spectrum of Population Health Management. In his current role, he is focused on developing new products for the Provider market.  He has a Bachelor of Arts in Statistics and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Minnesota.

 

Alyssa Braaten, Business Initiatives Consultant, Vice President/National Sales, Wells Fargo Private Bank

Alyssa is a Business Initiatives Consultant and Vice President, National Sales for The Private Bank at Wells Fargo where she leads the design and effective implementation of unique and innovative sales and client experience programs for advisors and leaders across the country.  Alyssa has 14 years of experience in the financial services industry and holds a BA in Communication from the University of Minnesota – Duluth, a MBA from Concordia University and a Masters of Arts in Organizational Leadership also from Concordia University.

 

Brian Cihacek, Principal Contract Administrator, Metropolitan Council

Brian has worked for the Metropolitan Council since 2014. He was previously employed by the State of Minnesota and the Minnesota Association of Charter Schools. He holds a BA with a major in Psychology from St. John's University, 2008, an MA in Strategic Communication Management from Concordia University-St. Paul, 2014 and an MA in Theology, St. John's University, 2016.

 

Michael Copa, Director of Finance, UnitedHealth

Michael has a significant connection with the University of Minnesota and surrounding area having lived there while receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business degree from the Carlson School of Management at the U of M as well as an MBA from the same institution. Professionally, he has over ten years of progressive experience in finance and accounting at UnitedHealth Group and currently serve as a Director of Finance for their commercial health insurance business.

 

Ellen Doering, Children's Mental Health Case Manager, Washburn Center for Children

Ellen is a Children’s Mental Health Case Manager in Minneapolis helping children and their families. Ellen completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Minnesota in 2017. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Marcy Park Student Housing Cooperative. 

 

Brian Dusbiber, Ed.D, St. Catherine University, Assessment Analyst

Mr. Dusbiber has held multiple professional positions in higher education. Currently he responsible for improving and reporting institutional research and assessment at St. Catherine University. Past leadership responsibilities include student services at St. Thomas University and administration of the American College Personnel Association. Mr. Dusbiber has a doctorate in Education, Leadership, Policy, and Administration, and a master’s in Guidance and Counseling. He also serves as secretary for the Riverton Community Housing Board of Directors.

 

Scott Graham, Broker/Owner, Uptown Realty & Management

In 1991 Scott began a career in bicycle wholesale, switching to real estate in 1998. In 2008 he founded a residential real estate and property management company. He also serves as an officer of the state DFL (Democrat) political party and is exceptionally politically involved.  He and his wife live happily on the west side of Minneapolis where they take large advantage of their proximity to bicycle infrastructure.

Jaren obtained his bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College and his Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota School of Law.Prior to forming Johnson Law Office, PLLC, Jaren was a partner at Johnson King, PLLC, Kretsch & Gust PLLC and an associate at Meagher & Geer, P.L.L.P. in Minneapolis as a real estate and corporate law attorney. Jaren serves as president of the board of directors for Riverton Community Housing in Minneapolis.

 

Jason Kenley, AP World History Teacher/Gifted and Talented Coach, East Ridge High School

Jason graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Social Studies Education. He is an Advanced Placement World History teacher and Gifted and Talented Coach at East Ridge High School in Woodbury, Minnesota. He was also the President of the Board of Directors of Marcy Park Student Housing Cooperative and is the vice president of the Riverton Community Housing Board of Directors.

 

Neil Kolatkar, First Vice President, CBRE

Neil is a commercial real estate advisor at CBRE in Minneapolis.  Prior to joining CBRE, Neil attended the University of St. Thomas College of Law and The University of Wisconsin-Madison.

 

Tom Pierson, Cooperative Specialist and Independent Cooperative Consultant

Tom is a specialist in the issues of housing and worker cooperative development. He serves on the board of Shared Capital Cooperative, a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that lends nationally to cooperative businesses. He coordinates the public policy efforts of CooperationWorks! and serves on the board of Twin Cities Co-op Partners. As an independent consultant, Tom provides facilitation, historical research and technical assistance services to cooperatives across the country. He serves as a guest lecturer at the University of Minnesota on topics related to co-op law and economics.

 

Rachel Rice, Chief Financial Officer, Pinnaca

With more than twenty years of experience in the finance industry, Rachel oversees all financial control and planning activities for Pinnaca.  She served as the longtime CFO of Video Guidance and became CFO of BCS Global, holding a key role in the merger of the two companies.  She previously was the assistant controller for Nova Consulting Group.  Rachel earned her MBA in Finance from Opus Business College at the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn. She serves as treasurer of the board of directors for Riverton Community Housing in Minneapolis.

 

Molly Rutzick, Vice President, TCF Bank Commercial Real Estate division

Ms. Rutzick is responsible for leading TCF’s national affordable housing lending program, providing financing for affordable housing and tax credit projects.  She joined TCF in 2012 and has more than 10 years of experience in commercial real estate finance.  Ms. Rutzick holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Risk Management from the University of Wisconsin.

 

Mike Shepard, Senior Vice President, US Bank Consumer Banking Product Strategy & Support

Mike Shepard joined U.S. Bank in 1997 and currently leads the Consumer Credit and Sales Optimization team responsible for the strategies and tactics to grow consumer loans.  Prior to his current role Mike managed a variety of businesses within Retail Payment Solutions including the U.S. Bank Prepaid business as well as the U.S. Bank branded consumer debit and credit card portfolios.  Mike earned a bachelor’s degree from Coe College (Iowa) and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas (Minn.), is a graduate of the Consumer Bankers Association Graduate School of Retail Bank Management and is a board member of Riverton Community Housing and the Eden Prairie Boys Basketball Association.
